Phoenix James with the Olympic Torch in London

Phoenix James in Samsung 2012 Olympics Campaign

Phoenix James holding the Olympic TorchPhoenix James celebrates a successful period working with Samsung and David Beckham to promote the Samsung London 2012 Olympics Torch Bearer campaign in London’s Piccadilly Circus.

“It’s a great honour to have been asked to be a part of this project. The most beautiful part of this campaign has been when I’ve handed the Olympic torch to children, their big smiles and the joy on their faces. People have come from all over. I’ve met people of all ages of all races, from all walks of life and from all parts of the world. There’s really been a fantastic and fun vibe and a great energy and excitement coming from everyone.” – Phoenix James

Samsung is offering people in your community the chance to be one of 8,000 Torchbearers to carry the Olympic Flame. All you have to do is nominate a person who you think is a Local Hero and goes the extra mile. It could be a friend at school, your sports coach, in fact, anyone you know. Simply tell us why they deserve the honour.
