Jimmy’s got a loaded gun
What were you thinking
How do you intend to evacuate an already abandoned building
Filled with children
Already dead inside
Void of light
Self destructing, self employed victims of the night
Self deprecating, selfish and selfless
The ones they avoid
Seek, kill and destroy
You’re helpless
How can you help us
We.. just want to set all of our hostages free
Offends us, your lack of belief
There goes another unanswered ransom note
Please
What can you offer us
Just leave us be
All of this time wasting is costing us
If I was you, then I would see
No, I would rather be me
It looks safer on this side
Jimmy’s got a loaded gun
Had it on layaway
Smiled, counting down the days
While you were spouting all the things you say
Paid up on payday
It’s wild how things change
Vowed he won’t live a slave the night we all prayed
Something about the wages of thy ways won’t go unpaid
We couldn’t all be saved
But we can be safe
You had a role to play
You were out of place
Now Jimmy’s got a loaded gun
And another one just incase.
