Former Advances by Phoenix James

Former Advances

Now to start with
Her former advances seemed harmless
At least that’s what I thought, until it started
I mean, innocent thoughts became tarnished
By, if I take my chances
Judging by how intimate this dance is
Chance is
I could enchant this
Brown skinned, sexy thing home to my advantage
That I could enhance this
From dance floor darkness
To a candlelit bliss
And that if I play my cards right
I can’t miss
I don’t usually do it on the first night
But all I can envision is her hips
Gyrating to the rhythm of my lips
And my tongue
As it licks the sweet bitterness
From her clitoris
As she comes
I don’t usually do it on the first night
But I swear I would savour the flavour of her warm wetness til’ daylight
And my bet is, a cross between passion fruit and honey is just what she tastes like
Funny, I don’t usually do it on the first night
But her former advances though ever so slight
Have inspired thoughts of her naked, splayed atop my face
As I lie with my arms wrapped around her thighs as I taste
And lick and lick and suck
And drink her fine juices down til’ the sun comes up
And for a while there we remain, tucked up
No questions asked, no need to explain
And I just slip down and suck from her luscious tasting sugar cane all over again
Her former advances go backwards and forwards spinning around inside my brain
While the DJ spins and another song plays
As we graciously exchange names
I’m thinking…
I hope my thinking is not in vain
Thinking I hope her thoughts…
Are the same.
