I Haven't Thought About Sex In A While by Phoenix James

I Haven’t Thought About Sex In A While

I haven’t thought about sex in a while
Wild I know.. but true
To tell the truth
I haven’t even thought about you
It would be a lie
If I said I thought about your smile
Or the things we used to do
At least not in the way you’d love me to
I always seem to end up
Right back here in this stuff
Feeling like I didn’t make it clear enough
That I’m never really making love
As much as I’m sincerely fucking up
The smart ones run a mile
The smarter ones, two or three
Once they come to decide
That just one of them
Is no match for two of me
Me and all of my seasons
Your reasons for not believing
You and all of your demons
Fighting to shadow box with mine
You naked wearing all of my semen
And me in nothing more than a good time
But I haven’t thought about sex in a while
And the thought of that makes me smile.
