A Land where Minds are Free by Phoenix James

A Land where Minds are Free

Absent from the activities of the busy city
Off the old road
Through the forest
Over the mountains and across the sea
There’s a land where minds are free
I know ‘cause I have been
I know ‘cause I have seen
The flow of realised dreams
As fluent as rivers and streams
A place where man fails not to achieve
Where he doubts not but believes
Staying deeply rooted in his foundation as like the trees
Not blowing aimlessly on the wind like it’s leaves
And I have seen here no pain, no rain in any form
No shame, no scorn
Only peace in knowing the sun shines also on the inside
Where there is no morning, no noon and no night
Only light
And the height of success is not a point to be reached
But merely an ongoing flight or quest for man to be his best
Not a fight or plight but simply a strengthening test
And there is where I have seen man
Utilise the equations of God to the point that he knows no fear
Challenged but well balanced and well prepared
For all of life’s circumstances
Amidst life’s adversities his soul dances
He takes chances without limit
For trial and tribulation only enhance his spirit
And I know ‘cause I have seen
I know ‘cause I have been
Absent from the activities of the busy city
Off the old road
Through the forest
Over the mountains and across the sea
To a land where minds are free.
